"Control happens when you don’t like certain things. Your desire to live life in specific ways forces you to manipulate things.

The problem is not the desire. But it is your limited thinking that can’t consider anything beyond it."

You have the cart in front of the horse and its powers. A grand start to what gets you what true modes of transportation are meant for. What does that mean? Ah, a good question worthy of having an open mind and patience. And more.

It seems you have missed something according to an actual antecedent to your essay's protagonist. The antagonist is what I am speaking of. Alas. liking not or otherwise ala desires gone amuck is not the source of your problem of needing control. Its the fact you lack courage and self efficacy and there in the midst of that reality derives the notion of getting control by losing it. Losing it to what,? Having no control when self control is all that remains. And truly matters. While there is more, this is the essence of why mandating control of the externals is a fool's errand.

What about the courage that fails you at the outset. The lose of you for whatever the reason but lost nevertheless. Your essay's assumptions are shallow. And weak. Why? Because your premises are deeply flawed. Assume this and ponder the possibilities young sage. Dig on. And more...

Think again and think harder. And deeper. And broader. And then, and only then might you find what you are truly looking for. In the mean time your efforts are appreciated. And yes, your intentions are honorable. And kind. So thank you for that. Goals aside for those who need such things, your intentions are worthy of a tip of the hat. And a horse or two at the front of the carriage.
