If the church first and foremost insists that you give up yourself to a higher entity ...i.e. forgoing the internal for the external, look not for the exit doors but a map out of this territory.

All value begins with knowing one's self, honestly and genuinely. Then and only then can you be of value to others. The church that demands contracting out to the external....ala the wonders of a God, before knowiing who you are, honestly so, is seeking power for the church and its brand, sadly stated nevetheless a power play for the little people's lives and cash and only God knows what else.
