Joining or melding or simply deeply aligned with the likes of your parents and their intentions had to be nothing less than how you deemed it, brutal. And worse when compared to what was. Or could have been.

Truths are ugly. And yes, answers are fraught with mystery. While as the unraveling unfolds, what was left was two adults, lost. And in their lostness, had not the courage nor strength to do the long hard work. No, over night that bought in to the easy path. The road to where easy takes you. And the inevitable that awaits. Sad. Sad. And beyond sad.

Thank you for sharing. Its a lesson in easy .... avoiding immediate pain, for the long trek, where the lessons create genuine joy. And happiness.

Sad, isn't ? The nature of what becomes of one who surrenders [to another party or cult or JW Kingdom] after the first round or two. Your authenticity and efficacy kaput in exchange for eternity.

Sadder yet, the inevitable that remains when they find themselves back where they began, but far worse to show for it. For you are long departed.
