Kind and gentle and forthright and honest. A simple notion that remains so complex. The notion that worlds are distilled. And the likes of the other is us and the us, the others. Hard to imagine a world on the edge of oblivion having such degrees, a wholeness where one is all and all ... one, no zero sum games.

Love without power is sentimentality. Power without love, tyranny. Where do they meld and merge?

You said it, someplace where hope comes to love and love to acts and acts where each share their efficacy and by doing so, creates power for the other. And love with power begets. And begets more of the same, genuine love. And its derivatives.

Your hardest of weeks as a Jew is shared by millions, Jews and their neighbors and neighbors of neighbors. And there, someplace within that emotional, conscious state is possibly the end of the beginning.

Thanks for your heartfelt message. A message to all of us.
