Solid work sage of sages. Work now play and play now a wonder to behold, is what I am talking about. I like your honesty. And programing. And better yet, the path traveled leading to this moment.

You see, most of us that are aligned with similar while different maps are traveling the same territory. No simple task, being a peripatetic soul. I claim to be a writer as well.

Here is something to chew on. An opening paragraph to a 300 page literary novel. A soul's memoir, the down the river journey.

Since I first began to think for myself I realized I was alive in a peculiar joint of a place.. A wanderer’s sort of joint. A place others call home. A place where I simply did my best to get along and failed over and over again. Then…precisely when I am not certain, I realized I had lost the likes of my flame. And worse, for where I was when home escaped me, eons ago when familiar dried leaves raked in mounds and hills burnt into embers long into the night. And sooner than later… when the others tried to stamp out the flame forever.

See you around the corner fellow traveler. And thanks for the words from a life well lived. You inspire. And better yet, continue on. A better man for it. A better world as a consequence.

Eric

PS. As to your thoughts about the opening paragraph, say anything you like. The worse the better, the more honest than not, the better it gets. I am 123 pages into the work. The theme set, the plot unfolds down river in a joint called a city that care forgot, New Orleans. Ah, the wonders of the journey. What do you say to the theme as you discern it? Just wondering, as always.
