I appreciate the fact one never totally recovers from the past nor can avoid the inevitable while knowing to deeply enjoy you must give up both ...as best as practical, to deeply engage what's truly essential...the moment. This moment.
Your new close friend and you have managed to do this. Not easy. Not hard either when the bodies is pleased and the heart seeks the truth.
One and the other are important to each other. Not based on a ancient past or distant future. No...not you today. Today...the moment has become you. Listening helps. Simply giving in is critical. Being confident is paramount. Similar affections makes for grand efficiency when time truly matters. While the moment is everything.
