Thank you Keith for your insightful reply. Every morsel of the message was news to me. I love the concept of the ever evolving higher self and the renewal of deep, time traveling affections. As a writer I discovered the nature of the subconscious at work via being in the "flow" which I assume is akin to your term of experiencing your "bliss" .

While the question goes to the subject of spiritual guides and the sense that we are not simply surrounded by support from a realm beyond our comprehension but also have within us the resources you could be referring to when you speak of the 20%-80% of the higher self accompanies the next incarnation. I am speaking of the subconscious and the nature of support. A cousin of intuition.

As to your knowledge on the subject, would you mind enlightening me as to your sources? My primary interest lies at the intersection of personal experience and recurring cycles of such experiences.
