The country of ours is well divided and worse yet, not a sacred soul to worry why?

Sad as can be, we are lost among our genuine successes. As the richest of nations while the poorest of what really matters. We are not longer toilers of soils and makers of goods or creators of wonders but simply doer of deeds that others write the checks for.

We are a nation of small people rising on the shoulders of giants who fought for what they owed not feeling the country owed them for who they voted for.

We are screwed and tattooed. And where does the Christian nationalist take heed? Where the religion always has. It fills voids for the political class who needs God to justify its nefarious deeds. God and politics is not a gumbo or tossed salad. Its what all co-dependents are, two weak entities using the other as foil and lever and the worst of all, bedfellow for the long nights when sleeping alone is too ghastly a task.

The Christian nationalist is on the rise, much like its progenitor during the days of the

Roman Empire. When Rome was crumbling it needed a God for levering while loathing the Jews and the Pagans were too decentralized the emperor saw a potential in the budding religion. And there the religion became what it is today, a righteous fist against the emperors obstacles.

Today. America is Rome. And the Christians are simply doing what they have always done. If we are really lucky and possibly better yet, bold enough to make a stand, both will see a new day. But don't count on it.
