There is no devil. Or bedeviling or the likes of what devils do for the sake of being such. No, there is only the lack of goodness. By degree ... nevertheless like there is no darkness. Just the absence of light. There is no cold, simply the absence of heat. There is no devil. Hard stop. Just he lack of good. The theology that suggests devils are at work is creating the lack of good in plain sight. Why? That is an entirely different subject.
